Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These terms describe the basis on which the Kumo software and this website are made available. They are a generic starting draft — see the note at the end.
Acceptance
By installing, running, or otherwise using the Kumo software, or by using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
The software is provided "as is"
Kumo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure in your environment.
Your infrastructure is your responsibility
Kumo runs on hardware and servers you operate. You are responsible for:
- The security, patching, and configuration of the servers Kumo runs on.
- Backups, disaster recovery, and the availability of your workloads.
- The lawful use of the software and compliance with any regulations that apply to what you run on it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the software or this website — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

This is a generic starting draft, not legal advice. Have your own counsel review and adapt it — including the governing law and the entity it applies to — before relying on it in production.
